As of this morning, we now have tests running on Mac OS X 10.7. These machines are running the same spec hardware as our new Rev4 Mac OS X 10.6 machines. There are some consistent oranges as mentioned here. Sadly, the list of failing tests was moderated and never acted on. The list can be found here.
Until bug 700429 is resolved, all of these tests are hidden on all trees. Once that bug is resolved, we will begin to show the green tests. In the meantime, please feel free to check out how things look using noignore and jobname on tbpl. I have been using “https://tbpl.mozilla.org/?noignore=1&jobname=lion“.

this is good stuff and sorely-needed, but I have to question the timing of the launch. Nothing like seeing 15 failures on your changeset the day before a merge to aurora. In the future, testing infrastructure should really be done after a merge or well in advance. The day before is probably the worst time to land a change like this.
just sayin’.
I understand. The root of the problem is that our reporting tool doesn’t have the ability to hide things before they report their first result. I have filed a bug to allow us to hide things before they post their first result. Had those orange results shown up on the TBPL trees as hidden, like I would have preferred, this would have been completely silent.
yeah, fair enough. We had some great help starring and hiding the builds in irc so my brief fear of orange was quickly dealt with.
